Day Six

Today we drove from Jefferson City, Missouri to Colby, Kansas, about 520 miles. Saw lots of farmland, oil rigs.wind turbines, and cows.


Have we made a wrong turn and lost our way?
Very creative marketing!

    Actually, we have been to Manhattan, Kansas in the 70's - my cousin Greg went to college there. Jack & I visited him on our 1st cross country trip - in a tornado (not that we knew what the funny noise on the car radio was!) Be patient, the mountains are coming sooooooon, although they appear closer than they actually are!!!!
