Crossed into Illinois for a while before we crossed the Mississippi into St. Louis, Missouri. A Cardinals vs. Cubs game was about to begin and we didn't even hit a traffic jam. Imagine that in New York.

Day Three
Long drive today; stopped for a late lunch in Paducah, Kentucky. This is an historic town where the Tennessee and Ohio Rivers converge. They have a beautiful mural of the history of the area painted on a wall near the river.
