Day Fifteen

Our travels took us from Bend to Depoe Bay, Oregon and the Pacific Ocean to complete our coast to coast trip.

We drove on two scenic highways through mountain passes
and valleys and past rivers and lakes.

We reached the Pacific coast in Florence and had lunch on the Siuslaw River.

We took an elevator down 200 feet and saw an enormous cave visited by sea lions and saw the Heceta Head lighthouse.

We reached our hotel The Inn at Arch Rock in the afternoon and took a walk down to the beach below.  We could see seals in the water and later caught a glimpse of a whale in the bay.
