We checked into the timeshare at the Sand Castle in Birch Bay, Washington. Time to catch our breath, do some laundry and relax a bit. We're only 35 miles from Vancouver and 4 miles to the Canadian border.

We have a beautiful view of the Bay. At low tide the water goes out about a half a mile.
We have a bald eagle that perches in a tree on the building's rooftop.
Don and Bill got to play some much anticipated golf at the Dakota Creek Golf and Country Club.

Love that you saw a bald eagle that close in the wild but I'm not sure that Dad looks like a Dion.
