Another beautiful day in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and the Smokies. We hiked 2 1/2 miles to Laurel Falls today and saw a black bear no more than 15 feet from us. Luckily he was on top of a ridge and was as scared of us as we were of him. He ran away before we could get a picture.
It looks like you are already having an awesome time and it is only the second day! I really enjoyed looking at the pictures. Can't wait to see more and hear more about your trip as you continue on! :D
More great photos!!! - 15 feet is a little too close for comfort, wow. Sounds like your foot is feeling ok, Karen.
